no clue why your having the problem, but i wouldnt use gwx2.
Three friends of mine used it,and all 3 of them got hacked,im not sure if it was related to gwx2,but it was around 2 weeks after they started using it every time, soo id avoid it.

wierd I havent used GWx2 for a bit for a while but just tried it trying to duplicate your steps with the same results on XP... (opened one copy then nothing) At first I was thinking Vista but I guess not.. let me see what I can come up with...
I've used it for awhile... so I dont know what is causing this yet...

Said i/o error 32.
Went into the registry to change the path.
Clicked the first guild wars to run, logged in, then minimized it.
Went to open the second one - it went back to the first 1.

I have 1GB and using nvidia geforce 6100 nforce 405.

Start off by checking the stickied gwx2 thread here - http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10301247
I took the liberty of formatting your post within the quote above to make it a bit legible.
At wind fire and ice - please don't start that rumour again. Gwx2 is in use by many Guru users and the false-positive virus alerts come up on this board almost monthly. Gwx2 is clean - provided it is downloaded from the official link, as posted in the sticky I mentioned above.

I've been using Gwx2 on my Vista laptop for several months without any problems. I just followed the instructions exactly as per:

I had some trouble making it work as well on my Vista, and Idk if this has anything to do with anything, but it works for me only when the folders are identical, that is, it won't work if I let the login screen remember my account name. Also, remember to set both clients to windowed mode and to replace the whole Guild Wars folder after each update.

your system doesnt look like it can handle 2 clients, Guildwars needs atleast 512mb ram
so if you run 2 clients with your 1gb ram , you have 0 ram left for other things and your computer may freeze

um... GW doesn't use 512mb by itself. no even close. the box recommends that much because it is assuming you have other stuff running also (like your operating system, for example).
from my experience, GW rarely use more than 200mb of RAM by itself. your CPU and graphic card are greater limitations.

Running gwx2 on Vista laptop nvidia card in it, no special mods works just fine. Rember if there is an update you got to recopy the folder exe and dat file since it can't update itself.
